Biography:

Luis Manuel Montero obtained the Bachellor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Granada in 2015 and the Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Salamanca in 2017. His Final Project consisted in the design of a factory to produce methanol from natural gas and the simulation of its construction and operation. Additionally, his Master Thesis Project consisted in a research about the optimization of factors involved in catalytic reactions and the design of a plant to produce high purity monoglycerides. During his time at the university, Luis Manuel worked as a teacher of university remedial classes and did an internship in a dairy company (Reny Picot). In turn, he collaborated in research with the Nanostructured Materials Research Group of the Universidad de Salamanca. After graduating, Luis Manuel has worked as a freelance Project Engineer and as an Energy Market Analyst at Enagas. Currently, he is a Research Assistant at the Energy Systems Models Area (SADSE) of the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT).
