Biography:
Lucía Güitta López studied at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where she graduated in Electromechanical Engineering (specializing in Electronics) in 2017. She earned a double Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Connected Industry in 2019, and a PhD in Engineering Systems Modeling in 2024 with a dissertation aimed at bringing the use of AI closer to industry.
Since then, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Electronics, Automation and Communications, where she currently teaches courses on Reinforcement Learning, Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Industrial Automation.
She also participates in applied research projects at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) within the Artificial Intelligence area and the Chair for Smart Industry.

Industry 4.0, Industrial Automation, Smart Systems, Robotics, Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
