Areas of interest:
Railway systems. Design and optimization. Computational mechanics.
Jesús R. Jiménez was graduated with the degree in Industrial Engineering in 2004 from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. In 2009 he got his PhD from the same university with a doctoral thesis about dynamic analysis and optimization of high speed railway overheads. He is currently working as lecturer in the area of computational mechanics at ICAI, while he develops his research in the engineering analysis and design area of the Institute for Research in Technology. He has received The Talgo Award for Technological Innovation 2010, with the project "Simulation, calculation and optimization of railways".
