Eugenio Francisco Sánchez Úbeda received the Electronic Engineering degree and the Ph.D. Degree from the Comillas University, Madrid, Spain, in 1991 and 1999, respectively. He is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT), and an Associate Professor at ICAI School of Engineering of Comillas University, where he is lecturer in Algorithms, Statistics and Data Analysis. Since 1991, he has been working in the field of automatic learning techniques and forecasting and its applications. He has participated actively in more than fifty research projects related to this field, in collaboration with European utilities.
