Eugenio Francisco Sánchez Úbeda received an Electronic Engineering degree and a Ph.D. Degree from the Comillas University, Madrid, Spain, in 1991 and 1999, respectively. He is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT), and an Associate Professor at ICAI School of Engineering of Comillas University, where he is a lecturer in Statistics, Machine Learning and Data Analysis. Since 1991, he has been working in the field of machine learning techniques and forecasting and its applications. He has participated actively in more than one hundred research projects related to this field, collaborating with European utilities.
