The main objective of this consultancy project is to develop a well-founded proposal for the structure and values of access tariffs for flexible connections that:
1. Adequately reflects the marginal investment, operation, and maintenance costs associated with the different types of flexible connections.
2. Is consistent with the current Spanish and European regulatory framework.
3. Contributes to the economic sustainability of the electricity system, ensuring that tariff revenues exceed the associated service costs.
4. Incentivises the adoption of flexible connections over firm connections in contexts where demand can adapt.
5. Is technically robust and defensible before the CNMC, MITECO, and other sector stakeholders.
