This project addresses the feasibility of the 2 x 3000 V (DC) railway electrification systems. This project developed jointly with Sener for Adif. The specific objectives of the project are:
(1) the study of the control modes of the DC/DC converters, (2) the evaluation of the technological solutions for DC/DC converters, (3) the analysis of the electrification system under 2 x 300 V (DC) and (4) the identification of the overall contributions of the 2 x 3000 V (DC) railway electrification system.
