Funding entity Iberdrola
The objective of the collaboration is the improvement of the simulation tool of the Iberdrola’s hydroelectric system. This tool is integrated into the current use of the decision support models for the market operation planning. Besides, it is also included the development of a stochastic hydrothermal planning tool.
The tasks developed are the following ones:
a) Validation of the simulation model for other hydro basins.
b) Modeling improvements and maintenance of the model.
c) New optimal operation tables for hydro and pumping storage units.
d) Desegregation by basins of the results of the MPO model.
e) Maintenance of existing applications.
