Funding entity Mercados Energéticos, SYNEX
The goal of this project was to review from an international point of view a proposal to regulate «the Access to and the Remuneration of the Transmission Network» for the Uruguayan electrical system, that was developed by the consultancy firms Mercados Energéticos and SYNEX for the PNUD-UREE in Uruguay. First a review and analysis of the different alternatives that have been adopted in the international experiences has been performed. Then a critical analysis of the proposal has been done, pointing out its position within this international review, and taking into account the Uruguayan context and the regional framework it belongs to.
