The main objetive of the project is to investigate the feasibility of controlling the voltages of the transmission grid with a tertiary proportional control system implemented at power plant level. In addition, it will be investigated the feasibility of secondary PI control system of pilot buses.

Research topics:
• Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
