Development of a simulation tool for the Spanish AGC system and implementation of improvements in the design

The objective of this project is to implement a simulation tool from the current AGC system into the Spanish system operator utility (REE), taking into account the current rules implemented in the AGC algorithm. Some of these rules will be re-defined in order to improve the Spanish AGC design. Beside this, a test program protocol will be specified, which will be used to guarantee the quality of the response of the new generators that will be part of the AGC service.
