Funding entity REE (Red Eléctrica de España)
The hypothesis and methodology employed by REE for the electricity planning study for the period 1999/2008 will be reviewed, given the new variables introduced by the regulatory change. The current models used under competitive schemes will also be reviewed, and a study will be carried out which will allow for the design of planning criteria and the selection of scenarios which will cover the full range of situations of the Spanish electricity system for a ten-year planning period.
