The objectives of the basic course of Reliability are:
• Understand the general concepts related to the RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) as well as their management needs with railway standards.
• Know and practice through simple examples the essential concepts of reliability and the parameters being measured.
• Know the most common reliability models, their requirements, their calculation and use through case examples.
• Know what a reliability analysis and the different alternatives used through its theoretical conception and implementation through case examples.

• *RAMS Analysis compliance with the regulations IEC 61508, Quality Control and Assurance
• *Safety analysis, specification and demonstration of RAMS, quality control and assurance
