This project is a part of the CENIT Energos project leaded by Gas Natural Fenosa on smart grids. Within the framework of the task «Models and systems for generation management in microgrids», IIT team will undertake two sub-tasks: voltage control and reactive power management and load-frequency control in microgrids.

Research topics:
• *Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
• *Automatic Generation Control: design and tuning of AGC regulators, identification of power plant models, primary and secondary regulation ancilliary services,
