This project has consisted of supervising personnel of Iberdrola Ingeniería y Consultoría in the study of the electromagnetic transients that may occur in Olmedilla and Romica substations. The study has been done using the ATP version of the Electromagnetic Transients Program (ATP). Factors leading to ferroresonance due to a reactor switching have been clarified.
