The aim of this project is the development of computational tools for power system operation and power system operation planning. In this framework, the tool for analysis of power system constraints jointly developed by IIT and Indra for Red Eléctrica de España will be maintained. In addition, new capabilities of the short term (1-36 hours) scenarios builder will be developed.

Research topics:
• *Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
