The aim of this project is the development of scenarios of the Spanish power system including a detailed representation of the transmission network. Dispersed information about generation, demand and new transmission facilities are integrated. Three scenarios are developed: 2006, 2008 and 2011. The final outcome of the project are three solved load flow files in the standard format used by Endesa.

Research topics:
• *Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
