Models of the Cas Tresorer Combined Cycle Power Plant

The aim of this project is the development of the models of the excitation systems and the speed-governing systems of the units of Cas Tresorer Combined Cycle Power Plant. Cas Tresorer Combined Cycle Power Plant is equipped with two units driven by gas turbines and a unit driven by a steam turbine. The excitation systems are AC brushless systems. The project also comprises the design of the power system stabilizers and the model validation. Model validation will be addressed comparing the model response and the units actual response.

  • *Stability: large disturbance stability, tuning of frequency loadshedding schemes, excitation control, small disturbance stability, tuning of power system stabilizers, identification of AVR and governor models
