Study of different proposals and development of a methodology for clearing the Spanish daily energy market. Special emphasis is put on the generation and demand bidding rules and on the matching algorithm. The economical impacts on the market agents of different alternative clearing mechanisms are analysed. This project is part of the ongoing Carlos Vázquez Martínez Ph.D research.
