Cloud-connected distributed energy-efficiency system for dwellings with high penetration of renewables and storage

The project consists in demonstrating an energy efficiency system for the residential sector with the following features: low cost and cost-effective, reducing energy bill, reducing environmental impact, very easy to use, and engaging customers. To achieve these goals, the system use ENERPRO and SPLODER-HOME, which optimally manage several Spanish dwellings, equipped with HVAC, PV panels, batteries and several loads, getting the most of the thermal-electric synergies. The intelligence is distributed not only in the cloud but also in the dwellings to guarantee the reliability of the system. Authentication and encryption mechanisms are key points to assure the data integrity. Finally, the system includes powerful tools for customer engagement.
