The aim of the project is the feasibility study of the connection of a 800 MW combined cycle power plant to the Spanish power system in Barcelona province. Precisely, the capacity of the network to evaquate the generation of such plant fulfiling the operational producedures of the Spanish power system.
The operational producedures of the Spanish power system require that the line and transformer loads and the bus voltages are within the admissible ranges in normal and abnormal conditions.

• *Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
