The goal of this project is to advance legal and regulatory recommendations to reinfornce the role of the wholesale electricity market in Peru, in order to guarantee the efficiency of both the operation of the system in the short term and its expansion in the long term. The project focuses on the format of long-term contracts for gas supply and the declaration of gas prices for the electricity market clearing.
