Network industries and infrastructures are subject worldwide to more market mechanisms than ever. While responding to these competitive signals and incentives, they still have to deliver their basic services with a reasonable guarantee of supply. To achieve this, these industries and infrastructures are being liberalised and re-regulated throughout the world creating a need for industries and public institutions in order to hire skilled professionals who are capable of understanding these processes and participating actively in their management and regulation.
ICAI School of Engineering has a long tradition in the education of professionals and researchers for the Electricity Sector, the field of activities where most of the ICAI engineers work nowadays, from technological positions to the top executives of the corporate management.
