The model COPLA is a tool that supports the decision-making process of a generator in the electricity day-ahead Iberian market (MIBEL). In particular, the main objective of the model is to help a generation company in the process of determining the short-term production of its generation, as well as in the preparation of bids.
The fundamental purpose of this work is to review and adapt the model to new market conditions, incorporating the impact of the large penetration of renewable generation.
