Areas of interest:
Modeling, analysis and simulation of power systems.
Francisco M. Echavarren was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1977. He received the degree of Electrical Engineer from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2001. In July 2001 he joined the \'Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica\' of \'Universidad Pontificia Comillas\', as a Research Assistant. In 2006 he received the PhD degree from the same University. His areas of interest include many issues of modeling, analysis and simulation of power systems, such as voltages stability phenomena, analysis of power system constraints, power system relaying, etc. He is professor of the Electrical Engineering Department, teaching \"Electric Power Systems Analysis\" and laboratories of \"Electromagnetics Fundamentals II\", \"Dynamic Circuits & Systems\" and \"Electrometry\".
