Biography:

Pablo García González: MSc'1992 and Ph.D.'2000 Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid (Comillas). He is Full Professor and Director of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the ICAI School of Engineering. He teaches Power Electronics and Applications at the Department of Electronics, Automation and Communications and carry out research activities at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT). From October 1993 to March 1995 he was at Valenciana de Cementos where he was a project engineer involved in control applications. He joined Comillas in April 1995. From 2013 to 2018 he was Vice Dean for Financial and Institutional Affairs of the ICAI School of Engineering.


Areas of interest:

Control. Power electronics. Power electronics aplied to the electric power systems (FACTS devices, active filters, HVDC, etc.). Electric power systems stability and control.
