Biography:
Manuel Blanco Castillo was born in Bailén (Jaén). He studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Jaén in 2018 and in 2020 he completed his Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering in the University of Málaga. He is currently working as a researcher in the Railway Systems Area of the Technological Research Institute (IIT). His areas of interest include planning and operation of rail traffic, energy efficiency, optimal design of signage and transport capacity, RAMS studies, analysis of security systems and quality control.
