Biography:

Miguel Ángel Ruiz is a research assistant at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) at the Engineering School (ICAI) of the Comillas Pontifical University. In 2017, He received his MsC in industrial engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, focusing his research in optimization modeling and clustering techniques applied to the agricultural sector. In 2012, he received his bachelor´s degree in industrial engineering from the university Carlos III of Madrid (uc3m). Miguel has experience in the private sector, in the healthcare and banking industry. He also has experience as entrepreneur.
