Biography:
Leslie Herding was born in Wesel (Germany) in 1992. She obtained the Bachelor of Engineering at Technische Hochschule Köln in 2018 and the Master in Research in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Industry, Transport, Construction and Town Planning at UPV/EHU Bilbao in 2019. She gained practice in different research institutions (Fraunhofer ISE, German Aerospace Center). In September 2019 she joined the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica (IIT) of Universidad Pontificia Comillas as a research assistant in the area of Smart and Sustainable Grids where she works in the assessment of electricity network requirements for the energy transition.

Integration of renewable generation in the electricity sector, electricity grid access and connection, smart connection agreements, electricity network modelling.
