Biography:

Hennry Villanueva was born in Arequipa (Peru) in 1999. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Engineering (Peru) in 2022 and his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (Brazil) in 2025.

He has experience in microgrid studies since he worked at MERGE (Microgrids for Efficient, Reliable and Greener Energy – Brazil).

In September 2025, he started to work as a Predoctoral Researcher in the Energy Communities and Local Electricity Markets area of the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) of the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid.
