Biography:

Fernando Modrego Arceo is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Technological Research (IIT) of the ICAI Higher Technical School of Engineering at Pontifical Comillas University.

He earned a degree in Physics from the University of Zaragoza in 2024. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Deep Learning for Audio Signal Processing at the Autonomous University of Madrid, expected to be completed in July 2025.

From August 2023 to December 2024, he completed an internship at the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4All in Oldenburg, Germany, where he worked on the automatic parallelization of machine learning models applied to audio processing.

At IIT, his work involves developing and analyzing a tool to determine optimal locations for charging stations for heavy fright road transport.
