Biography:
Diego Loras Gimeno was born in Teruel (Spain) in 1996. He obtained his B.Sc. in Economics at the University of Valencia. In 2019 he obtained his M.Sc. in Economics and Finance at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and in 2020 an M.A. in Ethics and Democracy at the University of Valencia. He has worked as a research assistant in the Friedrich-Alexander University in Nürnberg (Germany), as a collaborator in the Fundación ETNOR for the Ethics in Business and Organizations, and as a associate researcher in Intermon Oxfam. In September 2020, he joined Comillas Pontifical University as a Researcher in Formation at the department of Economics of ICADE. In his PhD, he is working on the topic of fiscal incidence analysis on inequality and poverty in developing countries.
