Biography:

Professor Noemí Delgado Mellado studied Chemical Engineering at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where she graduated in 2011. For five years, she worked in the Estimating Department at Técnicas Reunidas S.A. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the UCM since 2019, where she began her teaching career with courses in Process Engineering and Food Engineering. In 2021, she began teaching at ICADE/ICAI in the Business Administration and Industrial Engineering programs. Since 2023, she has been a full-time faculty member at ICAI, teaching courses in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.

Her research work has focused on separation processes in chemical engineering and the study of alternative solvents, with experience in institutions such as UCM, the University of Alabama, and Comillas Pontifical University. She is currently collaborating with the Research Group on Emerging Contaminants and Resource Recovery at the ICAI School of Engineering, focused on the detection and characterization of microplastics.

She has numerous scientific publications in high-impact journals, participation in national projects, and one officially recognized research period.
