Biography:

Industrial Engineer (1983) and PhD (2015) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), with more than four decades of experience in the electricity distribution sector, performing different areas and levels of responsibility.

His Thesis, “Contribution to the planning of advanced electrical power distribution systems that incorporate distributed energy resources”, was developed in the Department of Electrical Engineering of said University, within the Electrical Technology, Materials, Generation and Distribution Program.

Proven track record leading transformative projects, strategic initiatives, and business operations in Spain and international markets, including Central America, United States, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia, consolidating its experience in the following areas:
- Business strategy and leadership capacity for transformative projects and applied research;
- Planning and operation of the electricity distribution network;
- Regulation of electrical systems, from their technical, economic and social sustainability
