Juan is a PhD student at Technical University of Denmark (Denmark) and is currently doing an external research stay at ICAI of Universidad Pontificia Comillas. His PhD consists of the modelling and optimization of the European Energy system, with focus on the descarbonization of the North Sea region. The study of sector coupling, and offshore grids are key in his PhD. Juan completed in 2017 a double degree MSc program in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and in Sustainable Energies at Technical University of Denmark (Denmark), after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Engineering of industrial Technologies in 2014 at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Juan is reviewer of journals and international conferences.
