Program in Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability (CETIS)

Two positions are offered for a Pre-doctoral Researcher. The contracts will have a maximum duration of 48 months (with biannual reviews). Research proposals must fit with the research lines offered:

· Human Nature relations  

· Emotional displays and persuasion

· Effects of hotel housekeeping in Spain

· Digital Economy

· Historical Political Economy

The doctoral candidates will be located in Madrid (Rey Francisco 4) but will be encouraged to move for a research stay at associate universities that are part of the program.

Tasks:

  • Job duties fundamentally research-based and be related to your training
  • Carry out some support activities related to research and education (organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops, edition of publications, exam supervision, etc.).
  • Opportunity to conduct teaching activities
  • Funding modality: scholarship

Requirements

Degree: Candidates should meet the admission requirements according to the Royal Decree 576/2023.

Previous record: Excellent undergraduate and Master's grades
Language: English equivalent to C1

 

Will be valued:

  • MRes or MSc with good grades is desired
  • Basic level of Spanish (A2)

  • Full-time contract renewable for up to 48 months depending on performance. The gross salary for the first year is € 24.307,98 (2026).
  • Full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) with the same holiday entitlements as permanent employees of Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
