A position is offered for a Pre-doctoral Researcher to research the influence of the angle of the pelvis in the risk of submarining and abdominal injuries in frontal impacts at Institute for Research and Technology, in person at Mobios Lab.
The project involves the analysis of laboratory sled tests with PMHS and modeling of the test using explicit formulation of finite element analyses.
Desired start date: 10 October 2025.
Degree: Official master´s degree in Engineering or a similar field.
Experience with computer simulation, especially using explicit formulation of Finite Element Analysis (in environments like Ls-Dyna) is required.
Language: Proficiency in English language.
Will be valued experience in sled tests is highly desirable.
-Full-time, one-year contract renewable for up to six years depending on performance. The gross salary for the first year is €31,472.55 (2025).
