The candidate will work with senior researchers from the Pontifical University of Comillas on projects associated with the Observatory of Sustainable Finance in collaboration with CaixaBank Asset Management, in a university-based, multidisciplinary, and international R&D environment. The tasks will involve a significant load of quantitative model development aimed to be published in high-impact academic journals. Initial duration: 6 months. Start date: Septemvber 2024
The candidate must have a PhD in management, economics or finance. It is critical to have analytical and quantitative skills and to be an expert programmer in Matlab or R, and knowledge of the financial sector will be valued. A complete command of the Spanish language and a high level of spoken and written English are required, as well as a good academic record and the ability to work well in a team.
Six month full-time contract with the possibility of extension. The salary is 36,422.78 €/year for 2024. You will have access to the services offered by the University, such as Databases and Resources Lab which includes access to Bloomberg and Factset among others.
