The Chair for hydrogen studies ICAI-ICADE brings together researchers that are motivated to contribute to the introduction of green hydrogen as a new energy vector by providing well-founded scientific research and activities.
Our research uses advanced quantitative tools and is highly inter- and transdisciplinary. We collaborate intensively with companies with a strong science-practitioner interaction. Currently, we are looking for a highly motivated researcher to carry out research in the field of hydrogen as a new commodity and analyse the rise of the clean hydrogen economy.
The P.hD candidate will have the opportunity to work with senior international scholars. International visiting positions will also be offered.

Annual full-time contract for the development of projects. Besides, the Research Assistant could take training activities. This modality allows the Research Assistant to establish a very close professional relationship with the academics and companies with which he/she collaborates, thus nourishing his/her research with the experience accumulated during the projects The Research Assistant will be enrolled in a Ph.D program with a gross salary of the first year is € 25.020,62 for the year 2022. In addition, the IIT covers 90% of the cost of training activities and the Research Assistant will have access to all the services offered by the University (Sports, Cultural Activities, Library, etc.).
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a master's degree in one of the following disciplines: finance energy, engineering, physics, mathematics or business administration and management. Advanced skills in finance and programming (Python, R o Matlab) are required. High level of spoken and written English is also needed.
