Safe micro-mobility

The candidate will join the bioengineering team. Specifically, its main activity will focus on the development of computational simulation models that allow the evaluation of injuries associated with different types of collisions that can occur in personal mobility vehicles, especially scooters and bicycles. He will also collaborate in the design and execution of biomechanical experimental tests related to the aforementioned line of research.

Its offers:

Annual full-time contract for the completion of the doctorate and its corresponding training activities.
The student is hired each year for a maximum period of 3 years, with a gross annual endowment of 17,585.00 € for the year 2021. In addition, the IIT covers 90% of the PhD program fees and the student can enjoy all the advantages offered by being a Comillas student (Sports, Cultural Activities, Library, etc.).

Requirements:

The person must have a Master's degree in Engineering, knowledge in computational simulation programs and general purpose finite elements such as ANSYS and, in particular, explicit dynamics. LS-DYNA and general knowledge of programming, biomechanics and passive safety systems will be specifically valued. A complete command of the Spanish language and high level of spoken and written English are also required, as well as a good academic record and facility for teamwork.
