Evaluation of TSO-DSO coordination alternatives for the provision of flexibility services
The electrical system is experiencing a massive integration of resources connected at electric distribution networks such as electric vehicles, heat pumps or demand flexibility technologies, among others. These resources can provide services to both TSO and DSOs. The researcher will work on the regulatory evaluation and proposals to achieve a better coordination among the network operators and obtain higher value from these distributed resources for the electrical system. Part of the work will be developed for European H2020 projects with close collaboration with Spanish and European electricity companies.
Requirements: Completed PhD in Engineering (electrical, electronic or industrial). Deep knowledge on the electrical sector, optimization (GAMS language) and programming (Matlab or similar) will be valued. English level C1. At least 2 publications in JCR journals.
