35th Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements - CPEM 2026, Madrid (España). 06-11 septiembre 2026
Resumen:
Ensuring reliable performance of critical medical electrical equipment requires regular calibration, yet the devices such as electrocardiographs (ECG), electroencephalographs (EEG), electrosurgical units (ESU), and defibrillators still lack of compatible measurement methods and robust metrological traceability. Medical electrical signals variability, strongly affected by factors like bioimpedance, further challenges accurate evaluation. To tackle these issues, the EPM EURAMET 25HLT08 Met4MED project aims at developing novel metrology to provide improved traceability in this field. The project will also create a metrological framework utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the accuracy of key parameters in medical equipment, while adopting an open-source approach to maximize its impact.
