Design and simulation of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG)

This project aims to design a grid connected 3-phase doubly-fed induction generator and later simulate it using the Workbench platform. Starting with adequate motor parameters, it will be designed in abc and dq reference frame undergoing different situations. It will also include a PI controller for the outer speed and inner current loops. The generator’s behavior will be studied both in motoring and generating mode.
