In traditional networks, the operation is based on a fixed rating model where High Voltage lines have a set maximum intensity for summer and another for winter. However, with the implementation of Smart Grids, the network can now use a dynamic rating system known as Dynamic Line Rating (DLR). This system allows for the establishment of the maximum intensity (Imax) of the line at any given time, optimizing its usage. The objective of this project is to analyze the data from existing DLR systems already in use and subsequently develop a deployment plan for the coming years.
