Wind generators are technically able to provide primary frequency control. Primary frequency control aims at stabilizing frequency after active power unbalances. Island power system are especially sensitive to active power unbalances. This projects quantifies the impact of short-term wind uncertainty on the dynamic response of primary frequency control.
