This project involves developing optimization models to take optimal operating decisions for a CCGT dealing at the same time with uncertainty of future spot and reserve market prices, while taking into account costs of thermal fatigue that is accumulated during operation of the power plant. The developed model as well as the analysis of the results can be used as guidelines for CCGT owners in order to optimize their profits under the current paradigm change of CCGTs due to increasing renewable generation in power systems.
