The project focuses on identifying the cases in which PRIME Hybrid could help improve reliability and performance of the smart metering infrastructure (AMI) in an electric utility company, as well as the possible benefits that have not been identified before the project execution. The adaptation and modification of the analysis and monitoring tools that exist for the legacy PLC version of the protocol (PRIME 1.3), so that they can be used for PRIME Hybrid, is also part of the scope of this project.
