This thesis will carry out an analysis of the new functionalities that could be added or discarded of the implementation into the next generation of smart meters, which is one of the tasks for Bidelek 4.0 Project. The analysis will evaluate the different advantages and disadvantages from the functionalities, taking into account technical and economic aspects.
