Full-time teaching position in Electrical Engineering
Comillas Pontifical University invites applications for a full-time teaching and research position in Electrical Engineering. The successful candidate, who must hold a PhD degree and have proven experience in the fields of ‘High, medium and low voltage electrical installations’ and ‘Power Systems’, will join the Electrical Engineering Department at the ICAI School of Engineering in September 2020. Apart from teaching, the appointed candidate will be expected to participate actively in ongoing course development efforts, and have an active attitude towards a gradual consolidation of a research career and research funding seeking from both private and public sources. A well stablished research line and JCR publications are highly valued.
ICAI is a centenary institution based in Madrid (Spain) which offers Industrial Engineering (including Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics majors) and Telecommunications Engineering programs. We strive to provide comprehensive engineering education by developing intellectual and professional capabilities without disregarding qualities such as responsibility, critical thinking, ethics and values. In addition, our students develop other qualities and professional skills like leadership, teamwork, and internationalization.

The salary scale will be a minimum of approx. 47,000 € per annum and could increase according to the candidate’s experience and qualification.
