Modifications done to the short and medium term Bulk Production Cost Model StarNet/RD to adequate it for it systematic use in the operation of the interconnected electric system of the Dominican Republic. Among others the following modifications have been done:
· Definition of a particular security coefficient for each line.
· Detection and elimination of antenna nodes.
· Tuning of the solver control parameters for adapting them to the weekly case.
· Definition of measure devices located en line nodes and nodal factors for these injections.
· Change in the chronological reserve margin equation.
As well, maintenance tasks have been done to the model to fix the detected errors.
