Load-frequency requirements in isolated systems with high wind penetration

The aim of this project is the study of the load-frequency control in isolated systems with high wind penetration. Precisely, the maximum admissible wind power generation is determined such that no load is shed in case of the sudden trip of all wind power generation due to underfrequency protections. The effect on the maximum admissible wind power generation of assuming the trip of first step of the load sheeding schemmes is also investigated.
